Refund policy

We strive for the complete satisfaction of our customers. If you find your online purchase unsuitable, we are pleased to offer you a full refund under the following conditions:

Australia 

We offer free returns shipping within Australia. Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in their original condition
  • All product swing tags must remain attached
  • Original packaging must be included
  • Proof of purchase is required

If express shipping was selected at checkout, the express shipping fee is non-refundable. Refunds are issued for returned item(s) only.

To request a return, please contact hello@melija.com.au with your order number.

If your return is approved, we’ll provide a return shipping label along with return instructions.

Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds are issued once your return is received and inspected. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit-card provider to complete processing.

Exceptions – Seconds and Samples Sale Items
Items purchased from our Seconds and Samples Sale are final sale and not eligible for change-of-mind returns, refunds, or exchanges.
This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Bundles and Gift Sets

Items purchased as part of a bundle, set or duo must be returned in full to be eligible for a refund.

If only part of a bundle is returned:

  • retained item(s) will be charged at their full individual price; and
  • the refund amount will be adjusted accordingly

All returned bundle items must meet our standard return conditions.


United States & International

We do not currently offer change-of-mind returns for orders shipped outside Australia.

EU customers may be entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period under applicable consumer laws. Returned items must be unused, in their original condition with swing tags attached and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

All MELIJA products are covered by our warranty.

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or develops a manufacturing fault covered under warranty, please contact us at hello@melija.com.au 

If a warranty refund is approved, we’ll refund the product purchase price once the item has been returned and assessed.
